ALA CROMA Virtual Exhibit

ArteLatAm is an arts organization with the mission of contributing to a better and deeper understanding of Contemporary Latin American Art. They provide Latin American visual artists worldwide professional advice from their art curators, portfolio reviews, studio visits, art talks, art residences, art exhibitions, and opportunities to develop and expose their creativity in and beyond their born countries.

Using ArtSteps and Blender I built a 3D environment to showcase the work of various invited artists. With the help of ALA's art curators I planned out the placement of information and created a guided tour with the user's experience in mind. The exhibit was meant to provide a unique experience where people who want to visit exhibits and enjoy art can do so from their computer or phone. It was important to me that the CROMA virtual experience gave a feeling of the outside environment with trees and sunlight throughout the exhibit.
